Down to 224.7! I had poor food behavior this past weekend, but even lost from the last time I weighed! Seeing the number go down has really pushed me to keep up the intentionality!!! At this rate I'll be my gw1 in like the next month!:))))))))))!!!!!!!!

Haven't been keeping good track of my calories because I've been drinking a lot lately but I finally got enough courage to weigh myself and im 219.6 😊😊 only 20 more lbs and im outta the 200s im so freaking pumped 💪 we all got this girlies, sending ✨good vibes✨ your ways

Okay its been kind of a party week but it time to get back in track: 218.3 (only a pound i guess but I feel like shit). I saw a quote that was like “you dont have to like it you just have to hate it what it does to you enough to change” and i just gotta keep reminding myself that

I'm at 202 and I'm still in disbelief that I got up this high. Every attempt to restrict ends up with me overeating. Im not sure what to do at this point.

I tried egg mono the past two days in order to "jumpstart" my low calorie diet but I failed each time.

I'm down to 224.0 as of this morning! I even accidentally fasted and did an mad today lmao... I'm working hard to fit off a binge urge now, though. I saw someone on edtwt like a week ago make a remark that a binge urge is just an intrusive thought and that has really helped me reorient my thought process when I feel like I want to binge. So hopefully we'll keep it down bc so far today I'm at net 445 cals.

I don't know what your daily schedule or life sitch looks like at all so I don't want to be unhelpful lol, but I found it really useful to ease back into restricting over a few weeks. And now I'm almost done with my first full week of low restriction and I'm down 4 lbs in about a week. I know our ED brains are super duper impatient, but it's either keep trying to dive in and mess up(causing more weight gain in the long-term, honestly) because our reptile brains get freaked out that we're going into food scarcity, triggering a binge as a method of survival(or at least that's what it thinks it's doing), or giving your brain some time to adapt. Long-term you'll be down faster and MUCH less frustrated with yourself if you do this. It gets easier and more sustainable.

 

Idk if you're out of the house/in control of your own food and schedule and finances and stuff, but starting to eat more in the morning, and eating complex carbs(oatmeal and berry smoothies are my go-tos), helps curb night binges for a lot of people. You also could be sugar detoxing--which is HELL. That's one you just have to tough it out through. I've use hella Diet Coke, Carmel corn boom chicka pop, and low-cal popsicles to get me through those periods and it helps a lot. 

 

 

You're doing your best, and it's really hard. You have us in this forum!!! We're doing it together:-) Keep us updated!

You are SO welcome!!!! I read it and had sort of a mini epiphany almost. And it's sort of true? Like you have the thought pop up, and then all of the sudden you can't really think about anything else. And then you become fixated on it until you just give in and binge. Or at least that's what it's like for me. But with this reframe it helps so much because it forces me to zoom out and think of the bigger picture and the root of the thoughts/urge. It's beautiful and has been so helpful. I haven't had a binge since I saw the tweet:)))

Thank you for the words of encouragement!!! I agree so much with everything you said and it's tough that our ED brains just won't listen to things we know are true. I'm going to plan to gradually ramp down my calories, even though I keep going into losertown and calculating how much I would lose by certain date if I eat 800, 1000 or 1200 calories. It's ultimately useless because I just end up busting those limits and my eating gets out of control.
