okay, so I'm deliberating on whether I should add some peanut butter to my diet since I don't get a lot of healthy fats + I also just really like peanut butter.

I'm thinking of adding the tiniest bit of water to a tablespoon of regular peanut butter and whisking it to make it have less calories for per volume (and maybe it will be easier to spread on bread)

would this work, or is it just gross? I'm not aiming to make it "soupy" and I'm nervous about making the bread soggy lol

I know some people might recommend PB2 but I can't afford it : (

I mean, you could always try it and experiment with how much water to add.

I personally would just buy a lighter already whipped peanut butter. I think adding water would just make it gross which I guess would make you want to eat less

i have tried this before and it always end up really soupy and weird because of the water resisting the oil. sugar free fat free whipped cream has like 5 calories a serving, you could just plop a tiny bit of peanut butter in that and it might have a better result. maybe with an electric whisk.

nah doesn't work. I love peanut butter and wanted more on my toast so figured adding a 0 calorie liquid would help. It was disgusting to say the least

fat doesn't mix w water so explains a lot but I can be dumb sometimes

Water probably wont work, fat and water doesnt mix without an emulsifier . You could trey peanut butter and light creme cheese, 1:1. I like the taste even better

You should try PB2.
I have peanut butter daily and recently switched to this. Less calories and fat than regular peanut butter

I once mixed peanut butter with a bit of flax seed and water. It turned out delicious, almost mousse like in texture. I used 2.5 tbsp peanut butter, 2 tbsp water and 1/2 tbsp of flax.

I stir 2 tbsp of pb into a cup of cooked oats every day and it helped so much with binge urges and overall satiation. I also add a serving of raw almonds to a daily smoothie. Highly recommend adding healthy fats into your diet for hormonal regulation.

High restricting is the way for me because slow and steady wins the race. As far as I'm concerned, as long as you end the day on a calorie deficit, you have won.
