Talking about anorexia with a friend.

Him: but like... you're not anorexic?

Me: no cause I'm still too fat to fit the criteria haha.

Him: yeah, exactly.

I can't remember how it went exactly but it wasn't a serious conversation or anything. We were talking about how we wanted to buy some Halo Top ice cream (HT doesn't sell in our country so getting those pints was a whole process) and we were joking about how we were both hyped to try it for very different reasons, the "anorexic memes" for me and the "gym-bro memes" for him.

I had been hinting at my ED just to have a grasp of how he would react if I ever straight up opened up about it and that comment confirmed for me that I'm still not skinny enough to be taken seriously. I mean, I already knew that but damn, does it feel bad to hear.

i’m sorry that’s so uncalled for :( he was concerned mostly bc we used to workout together all the time and like we had both lost weight in the past but it still was annoying and so is that!
