I’ve been struggling with my body image for a while which makes me feel pretty insecure. Especially after gaining weight I can’t help but feel very displeased with myself. How do you cope with being self-conscious and what makes you feel confident (in terms of your physical appearence)?

when im feeling really bad about my body i like to wear rly baggy clothing and make myself some warm tea. distractions help too, like video games, board games, etc. i wouldn't recommend watching tv or playing realistic video games bc (at least for me) you can end up comparing yourself to their bodies. if ive been feeling particularly bad ill call off plans and do something that has nothing to do with my body so that i can escape the torment for a little while haha. hope this helps!
