I have a big date next week. Fasting needs to happen so I'm less embarrassed by myself.
Starting 12 am 9/2/21
Ending at 12 pm 9/
4 3/21 60 hours I made it 40 hours
Starting Weight: 151.2 about 1/2 lb of that is food
Starting Waist: 27 1/2"
Ending Weight: 149.4 some of that is food because I broke fast at 40 hours and weighed in next day but I got to take off my bra extender!!!!
Ending Waist: 27" easy no messing with the measuring tape
Conclusion: I suck at fasts longer than one day but I love the results. I had an upset stomach after the fast and I'm not sure if it was the fasting, the scrambled eggs, the diet ginger ale, or my health issues. I won't be doing this again any time soon because I have to prep for permanent hair removal and hair removal recovery which needs a healthy diet (and super good hydration) or else it won't heal properly and scar, but I'm not against occasional 1-day fasts in the future, maybe a fast like this one if I really want to.
I'm gonna keep updating about my day to hold myself accountable. Water and tea are acceptable. I'm planning no vitamins but I might do vitamins anyways because I have unrelated hair loss issues already and I'm not trying to make them worse. If I get too dizzy broth is okay but I'm going to try to avoid it as long as possible. The goal is to take it easy and maybe be somewhat productive but mostly to lose the weight.
