Like it's just stretching... but I love it. I mean, stretching the muscles and putting strain on them would have to burn a lot of calories right?

it doesn’t burn many calories, no. it burns more calories than sitting and doing nothing but it isn’t at all significant.

it’s still good for you and worth doing though! i love pilates, it’s helpful for abs and posture especially.


i want to commit, restricting is a compromise at this point.

Not a lot, but any movement is going to burn calories.

Do you think it would count as "light" exercise if you were also getting like 6,000-10,000 steps a day?

I would def say that counts as light exercise.

 

and yeah maybe pilates doesn't burn as many calories as other forms of exercise but literally everything burns calories so
