Right now I'm restricting 1100-1350 most days, and below that some days, never below 800 though. I'll occasionally have a maintenance day if I'm feeling sick or am not getting enough sleep because of school. I've lost a significant amount of weight already by doing this.

About 1200 on average over the week, with occasional maintenance days or days eating out. I've been 'dieting' since 1st May and lost 50lbs by consistently doing this - and more importantly avoiding the temptation to try fad diets, fast, binge and starve etc. I wish I could go back a few years and convince Previous Me that patience is key, consistency is key, and there is no need to restrict really low or to fast.

Around 800-1200 calories. I find it hard to avoid binges on the low days though so I’d stick with as high as you can go to feel satisfied while still at a calorie deficit

That's cool. I'm trying to fast but I already ate a piece of cake. 1400 calories 😭. Staying at 1200 and just restricting is so much better.

Honestly, it really is better. For huge numbers of people restricting too low or fasting leads - understandably - to extreme hunger and reactive over-eating.

800-1000 and it has honestly been working well for me, might take a little longer but low restricting has never worked out for me

800 or less. I try to stay on the higher end of that limit because I have a habit of going super low and fucking myself over. If I get too hungry I lose control and wind up on a binge, but thus far 800 as a cap has been working great.

I'm a BMI of 36.7 and right now I am restricting to 1,500 or less. Weekdays tend to be around 1,000 and weekends tend to be about 3000 LOL.
However, I'm still losing so that's what counts for me.

1200, or less. Minimum is 500 to 800. A lot of water and diet coke.

Finally properly working out as well (leg days right now, I got my second dose of the vaccine and my arm still hurts.) I lost 16.9kg/37.3lbs from very little exercise. Now I need to tone and lose at the same time

Mostly one small meal per day. I know it’s weird not to count calories but I don’t always cook my own meal, sometimes have to eat out and there are also some moments it would look very weird if I refused a coffee or small dessert. It stresses me out less to focus on quantity rather than a number, my obsession with the scales is enough numbers in a day right now.

800 or less, sometimes I go a little over but then make up for it the next two days with eating only 200ish

800 or under for as many weeks as I can handle, then 1200 for about a week and then finally fasting for 3 or more days and repeat the cycle.

At first with my relapse I started just cutting massively down on the amount
(I was probs only eating dinner and 2 snacks but it could be anything)
and then I ate snack food instead
(Presized snack food, probs 4-5 of them as they are kids sized and if I eat any more than that I purge)

I am continuing to eat 4-5 snack items a day and purging anything else but now I am going back to calorie counting to see where I'm at.

I used to eat under 500 a week at my lowest weight but obviously I am not there anymore. I am going to aim for 500cals but 800cals max per day.
