I slept for 7 hours and drank so many cups of coffee this morning, but I still feel tired, so so tired. How come?

You are walking in an old town. The sky is dark. It might rain. The car is nearby. You can run away anytime.

And I usually have a maximum of 4 hours sleep, unless I take benzo's which make me sleep for 10 more hours, something I only do on the weekends.

I took melatonin to sleep and yesterday I slept for 7 hours. When I woke up I saw on my phone that it was 6am, I was so happy, so so happy because I normally wake up at 3 or 2am....

But how come I felt more tired than usual, when I only sleep 3 or 2, as long as I drink enough coffee, what I normally do throughout the day is just drink a cup of coffee every hour.

Today I feel tired, so so tired

unbelievable, and I am angry:<

Well personally I need 8+ hours of sleep (as do most people I believe?). If I don't get an urge to sleep in during weekends I know I am sleeping enough during the workweek.

Obviously a caloric deficit will leave you tired and make you want to expand as few cals as possible. I don't know your exact situation but I hope you can find some rest soon <3

Food is literally energy our bodies need. So if you're not eating enough that could make you tired. And if you happen to have ad(h)d caffeine can actually make you more sleepy. I very recently learned that after a decade of drinking lots of coffee and energy drinks and wondering why I never felt more energised from it lol

I sleep for 3-14 hours. EDs are wild.

The lower my weight gets the less I am able to sleep.
