are you still losing?

 

I feel like i see a lot of people in the 14-16 range say they eat like 500-900 a day. Shouldn't bmr still be at least 1000-1100 around that weight? & then tdee would be even higher? Is it possible to not lose weight on that much?

No not anymore at 500 calories a day i used to then it slowed down and stopped :/

i’m below 12 and still lose on ~1100 albeit veeery very slowly. sorry i didn’t really understand what you’re asking hehe but yeah for sure one would lose on that no matter their weight

Did you start at 1100? Cause i started at 1000 then 800 then 500 now i try to stay under that cause the last week and a fews days i ate around 800, and everytime i do that including this one i gain. Also it might be the fact ive been doing this the majority of 17 years so my metabolism is like a snail and im 34 now.
Hw-165lbs lw-80lbs cw-144.2 lbs gw-105lbs when I was 17 years old hw- was 210 but I was just giving info on hw for this time around.

My Experience with this: I am 5'6" & 84 pounds, so BMI 13.5. I am 22-years-old & have been dealing with different degrees of anorexia nervosa since I was 16. But, had some disordered eating way before that as a result of untreated stomach pain & discomfort as a kid. My high weight was 125 when I was 16. My low weight has been 80 or a little less. My BMR is supposedly around 1,058 calories per day. My TDEE if I did nothing but sit all day & sleep my typical six hours per night would be 1,389. If I factor in my active, blue-collar construction job, it goes way up. On my most active days, my TDEE is supposedly 3,004. I cannot imagine eating that much in two or three days, let alone one. It is weird, I feel as if I eat over 1,200 calories in a day that I gain. If I eat 1,000 to 1,200 I maintain. If I eat 800 to 1,000 I lose slowly. But, somehow anything less than 800 makes me lose weight like rapidly. (Like twice as fast as it mathematically should based on how my body does with other calorie amount.) Anyone have any ideas on what/why that is? &, if I can fast for a day or two consecutively, the weight loss is literally noticeable in 12 hours. It is not just me noticing, but my fiance notices it, too. I always think my metabolism is extra fucked when I cannot lose on 1,000 like I should. But, then I think it is not fucked when I lose weight that fast on low-restriction. Weird.

I’ve been in somewhat of a plateau for the past month so i’m losing very very slowly, on 800cals.

hmm idk where i “started at”... i was recently in the hospital where i was made to gain up to like bmi 14, but after that i haven’t really eaten below 1000

if you eat 800-1200 youre gonna lose lmao. like youd have to weigh 30 lbs or smth to maintain at that intake

your metabolism cant just keep on decreasing forever, thermodynamics exists people.

my bmi is 13.6 and if i eat about 1100 a day I lose slowly with zero exercise... anything less than that and i lose pretty fast still

Being at a low BMI for so long has really slowed my metabolism and also I have like no energy whatsoever so my wt loss is slow and steady but also super sneaky…

It’s scary because by the time I’ve noticed it I’m usually so sick I need medical intervention so yes while the higher restriction long term game does pay off in terms of sustainable weight loss (with a LOT of patience), the physical side effects are devastating and the mind fuckery of it all utterly baffling. I am amazed at how baboozled this illness has me at thinking I’m eating too much under 1000 at my BMI and more and more I am able to see how shitty I look… it only took over two decades!

Anyone else notice that they can see beyond the veil so to speak the longer they maintain low intake and weight?

And then I get these desires to want to step up my game and reverse it all only to do the same fucking thing day in and day out because I’ve become an anorexibot!! ☠️ 🤖 😱

I'm stuck too atm! I've been having 500 cal for weeks initially I lost a few lbs and I've kept it off but weight just stays within the same 1/2 lb. I'm also 34, I'm 167 tall and my bmi atm is 18. I've dropped down to 350 the past couple of days.
I've not been able to gym as I've got an injury but still walling when poss tdee around 1800-1900

I restricted on 350 a day this time last year and went from 110lb to 96lb in just over a month. Bit I'm stuck too it seems and im eating the same thing mostly!

I'm bmi 15 and maintaining at 700-900 calories, I've stayed the same weight this entire year too... when I want to start losing again my caloric intake is around 100-500 and some fasting as well. not looking to hit my goal until next year.

I just binge and then fast and drink liquor everyday and somehow I'm in the 15's and still loosing weight I really dunno how I got here
