My goal is to lose 50 pounds by new year! I know i probably won't make it but i'll work as hard as a can to do so, I won't be updating everyday but will on January 1. I'll do this until im at 200 but for now 75 days is my goal.

  • Rules
    • 750 cal limit
    • exercise/purge any extra cals
    • take vitamins everyday
    • workout 7 hrs a week
    • workout min 5 days a week
    • liquid fasts must be min 48 hrs
  • Permitted liquid fast drinks
    • low cal or low sugar ice cream 
    • Vegetable rich juice
    • Juice
    • Protein shakes
    • Almond milk
    • Water
    • Oatmeal
    • Soup
    • Apple sauce
    • Yogurt

I had a grilled cheese, cake pop, vegan taco salad and smoothie as my meal + lots of tea and coffee for my midterms which is why my intake was high but at least I worked it off! maintaining so far and i'm hoping to start an extended liquid fast next week once I start feeling better about low res.

Full disclosure: I had two meals yesterday but couldn't purge because i got caught for the second time this week and had to say I had food poisoning  again :(
i also didn't exercise because I had two midterms, i tried to do some pilates but was too tired and my back hurt a ton so i didn't count cals. Anyways i weighed myself this morning:
 
SW: 252

I'm sad bcs ive been maintaining for a while but i'm not gonna stop lmao i'm enjoying OMAD so far and planning my meal the night before in mfp helps to lessen my anxiety around food during the day and also stops me from nibbling or snacking on things unnecessarily bcs i'm fasting. Restriction has been hard lately for whatever reason so im going to attempt a liquid fast this weekend but we'll see ig

i'm down a pound from 2 days ago which is great! I ate ~1100 cals yesterday, burned like 600 cals and ate later than i usually would i'll redo that and see if i lose again.

I think i'm going to stop weighing myself every day and switch to weekly/biweekly weigh-ins so I can focus on sticking to 750 cals and longer liquid fasts because everytime i gain i'm tempted to switch what i'm doing.

quick update: I'm at at 250 as of today! gw1 which feels amazing tbh but also knowing that i've only lost 2 pounds in two weeks sucks but I just need to keep focusing on meeting my goals. I worked out 21 out of the last 30 days so next month my goal is to do 25/30 days. I also need to lower my intake to under 1000 cals and get back to being strictly vegetarian/vegan because i've had a lot of fish and dairy this month. Anyways stats for the months are below (oct 18 is when i started my 75 days): 

 

OCT 1: 256

OCT 18: 252

OCT 31: 250.8

You're doing well

Also that pound is probably water weight you'll pee out, it is impossible to gain fat while in such a big deficit so you're doing fine.

yesterday was a liquid fast but I worked out twice and after studying all day i was v tired/dizzy and had the worst brain fog so i ate an egg white spinach wrap and coffee before driving to campus for my 3 hour lecture otherwise my intake would have been under 700. I lost .5 overnight anyways so i'm not mad

 I've found that liquid fasts make me lose the fastest (or at all) so i'm definitely going to try and up the frequency, with alternating liquid fast days instead of only allowing myself 48 hr ones.

I had lots of tea and a peppermint mocha yesterday but didn't count their cals, i think i was at around 700-ish bcs i got tall starbucks mocha. I asked for no whip but they added it anyways. It doesn't look like i'm going to be under or at 200 by new years but i'm hoping to be at 210-220 range by then if i just liquid fast. I was worried I wouldn't have the energy to study/drive/work but i've been fine doing extended liquid fasts so far. Also like i said in the first post if I don't reach my goal in 75 days I will keep going until i do!

(rant)

I think i'm losing my mind a little bit because im on day 8 of another liquid fast and i'm not losing any weight despite working out every day and drinking at least half a litre everyday. I think the 5 day liquid fast + 2 days of eating and purging before this has messed with my metabolism a bit. I have not been logging calories in mfp but I consciously try to stay under 500 cals. I've stopped letting myself have almost everything on my list of liquid fast foods other than tea, coffee, and sugar-free ice cream. I'm due to start my period tomorrow and i'm hoping (praying) that me maintaining is because of it.
