I figured there are so many HSGD accountabilities on here, no one would mind one more. I ate myself up to about 170lbs and at 5’6” that’s not okay with me. I will weigh in and start tomorrow. My biggest mistake is that I tend to tweak the rules of these diets to try and get quicker results and it of course ends up causing problems. Because of this I will be sticking to the rules as it is written to the best of my abilities. My goal is to lose 10lbs in the next 30 days.

Day 1 complete. So far so good. Didn’t feel too hungry today but it’s just day 1. Hoping this is a good sign though.

I struggled a bit during lunch, but luckily I had set aside some calories for an emergency snack today. Low calorie of course. Day two complete.

I woke up with a headache and nothing is touching it. Not caffeine, not food, not ibuprofen, nothing. One good thing about today though is that I stuck pretty close to my goal. Day three complete.

Woke up with the same headache that wouldn’t go away, but it finally disappeared around noon, so today only half sucked. Day four complete.

Today was tricky. For some reason I was feeling RAVENOUS at lunch and ended up eating some junk instead of my low cal foods. I usually like to keep most of my calories for dinner because I’m a night binger. Going to bed full keeps me from stuffing my face at midnight. With the calories I had left, I made it all protein so I could stay full with fewer calories before bed and it’s doing the trick. Day five complete.

Not a lot of exercise today but stayed pretty close to my goal. Had dinner plans with friends which made things a little difficult, but I was prepared. Looked up the menu ahead of time, picked the meal I wanted, then worked my calories around it. Day six complete.

Today was okay. Watched some movies and reality tv. Trying to decide what book to read next. About to start the second week of the hgsd, so I am a little excited I haven’t given up or abandoned this yet.

Today was ROUGH. I got a flat tire on my way to work. My spare had a hole in it. The new tires were way more expensive than I’d thought they would be. I ended up having to work from home and my internet kept going out. Whole day was a nightmare. Good news? Kept my calorie goal. Day eight complete
