I know some people eat cotton balls to fill up so they won't eat actual food.

Has anyone here done it? I want to try it but I'm scared.

I'm just interested in learning about it.

EDIT: Thank you so much everyone. Id just like to make it clear that I don't plan on actually eating cotton. Id be too scared of it getting stuck!

Also negative and rude comments are not needed nor are they helpful.

This sounds absolutely ridiculous. Even I wouldn't do it. Don't let your irrationality get in the way!

Thank you so much. I am in all honesty, just curious about it. But after reading  a few post it is not worth it.

I don't but I do at times eat wood, paper and plastic. Not even to fill up, I just have weird cravings for it.

All I know about it is that there is absolutely no logic to it, at least IMO.

Look up PICA.

As for eating cotton balls, it is one of those all-time stupid supposedly 'pro ana' tips. It is a really sumb, dangerous & potentially lethal thing to do.

I thought about doing it after hearing about it from a girl I was in IP with, but then I realized it can cause blockage and I didn't feel like having surgery done on my intentines to get the huge cotton ball that got stuck in there out, so, no.

Like all have said its sooooooo dangerous.......buuuuut I totally know why everyone would want to to fill you up.......I have read there is a certain kind of fiber I'm not sure if it's chia or psyllium or something else but it's fiber and healthy and safe but after you eat it you drink tons of water and the fiber swells up and makes you not hungry and it safe and healthy. Anyone know which fiber it is?? I'm 100 percent sure that fiber is safe and not harmful unless you basically ate like a truck full or somthing.
