Don’t do a Carrie (me) and go and make things worse, healing from where you are at is quicker than reimbursing your toe and possibly doing what I’ve done and doing permanent damage that then means you end doing less for longer, if you are going to,go,to a gym maybe try exercise bikes, rowing machines etc, the cardio without the pressure on your toes depending on where the break is. I feel bad as I am medically not allowed to,exercise except gently,on an exercise bike which I can’t afford to get and gentle walking when able, I am not supposed to,do anything but back stroke if I swim, most cardio and weight exercises are out, I got a Bol locking last year for going skating a few days before surgery as my wee girly wanted to go and I was told in no uncertain terms I was to avoid knocking myself, off as he didn’t want to have to try out the pieces back together ((he was being friendly, teasing, but despairing of my insanity )

i’m on my feet running around all day at work anyway so i feel like it can’t get much worse.
i have been thinking about using the exercise bike at the gym though. i may try that then. and i’m far too scared to use the rowing machine. my mum used to be super fit and used it one day and popped one of her disks out of her spine and didn’t find out until 8 years later when she couldn’t walk with her left leg. she now permanently uses crutches and has gained a bunch of weight. uses a mobility scooter to go far walking distances too :/

but yes i’ll try the exercise bike lol

weight: 112.9kg
difference to yesterday: -0.4kg
total weight loss: 11,6

breakfast: glass noodles with soy sauce, garlic, honey, spinach and spring onion (374 cal)

lunch: 1 apple and 3 pickles (115 cal) I calculated the approximate calories per pickle by counting how many there are in the glass, it's true, one is about 10 cal :P)

dinner: cottage cheese, joghurt dressing and tomatoes (302 cal)

total intake: 791 calories

exercise: / (but a twenty minute walk during my break :P)

Wah, I am so tired. Work was really exhausting today. I didn't feel hungry at all, but am really really tired, I wonder if I wouldn't be as tired if I had eaten more). Just want to quickly update on here :) this time I also add pictures of my meals. Btw. my sister has lost some more, too. She is now at 109.9kg as of this morning. Motivates me to keep going. But I feel like I should add some more calories them the past few days, I am afraid that I will gain if I suddenly start eating more (even if it is still below my limit of 1422). I am a bit torn between eating more and eating only when I actually feel hungry. Well I gonna eat my cottage cheese mix now and then go to bed :)

As Carrie said, don't do anything that might hurt your health in the long run. I do understand you and your wish to properly workout at the gym, but as an alternative you may want to try out some seated home work out?! When I had trouble with my foot and could barely walk on it I did some by HASFit (they are on YouTube). In general I really do like their work outs, I think out of all workout channels on YouTube they are my favourite 😊

Your food for the day looks great! But please rest up after a hectic day, would it. E possible at the start of a working day to factor in something like a banana for more energy? Oranges are quite fast release where a banana is a bit slower, a bit more filling and nutrient dense than the noods but boy do they look good, I shouldn’t look at food photos when I am sat here at 3am wanting to gnaw my own arm off but refusing as the scales showed a lb back on

On my way home from work right now. Was as stressful as I thought it would be cause out of 14 people 10 were sick!!!! And among us three people who were able to take care of the residents one is an intern who just started this month's. Luckily the "most useful" of the bosses came and helped out after I called him. Argh, I felt so sorry for the residents, we didn't even have time to give them showers not to mention do normal activities like going for a walk or shopping, nor could we do the Christmas decoration er had planned, in situations like this I feel so sorry for the residents who have to endure this inhumane care :(. Tomorrow will be a similar day, ugggh ... Also I am a bit angry at myself for having eaten a slice of cheese that was left on the dinner plate. It is within my calorie limit but it was not planned and I had just implemented this new rule: do not eat at work. Especially cause I wasn't even hungry, nor am I now.
Ah I just go home quickly, feet my cat, grab some stuff, eat a quick dinner (yeah I am still debating if I eat a healthy salad or ice
cream, probably will go for the ice cream :P) and then head to my partner's place. Wanna sleep at his house cause it's his birthday tomorrow. I promised him I will bake a carrot cake for him, so that's what Im going to do tomorrow morning before work :P. I am a bit "worried" I might not be able to resist tasting the dough and cake. At least it's carrot cake so maybe I can, if I really want to, taste the carrots :P.

Well done, having been a nurse in what seems a lifetime ago I can empathise m it’s horrid feeling you can’t give your patients or residents the care that they deserve, but you did your very best, I’m sure you made certain no resident felt alone or was mistreated, which is a lot more than the shit show here these days. To be a good nurse or care worker It’s a vocation not a job, we are called to do it,it f7nds us!

Just need to write here to keep myself accountable and motivated for the day. Did bake my partner's cake without tasting the dough, only carrots. It is in the oven now. But I did start the day in a less then ideal way, by snacking mindlessly on chocolate, had six kinder schoko-bons plus a few pieces of carrot (the ends that were too difficult to grate 😋).
Btw. I need to re-evaluate my no eating at work, cause I joined a challenge and one rule is a 10 hour eating window. Mind you if I eat right before work, until I am home the window will be over, but I definitely think the chances of me starting to binge again is much higher if I try to forbid me to eat at night, but if I don't eat before work I will feel too hungry during working hours. So maybe I will pack my dinner and eat it right before the ten hour window ends. Anyway, I am excited for the challenge to officially start tomorrow :D.

Wasn't able to weigh myself this morning as I was at my bfs place. Did binge until I felt like a balloon that's about to burst. Don't feel like talking about it or calculating calories. Tomorrow I will simply continue eating less.

Mere speck of gravel on a long road, don’t worry, brush it,off, and carry on tomorrow, the journey twists and turns but there is always  a  destination that is reachable!

Okay, back I am  :) . After two days of no scale and loads of food I am back on track. Spend three days at my boyfriend's place where I couldn't weigh myself and it bothered me very much. But well, I just came home and weighed myself. Back at 113.1 kg. Well, it's a set back but I'll keep going from here. I joined the Losertown challenge. Daily goals are eating below 1000 cal, walking 10000 steps or work out for 45 min or burn 400 cal, drink 2+ liters of water and eat within a max time window of 10 hours. In addition to that there are daily challenges, for today its only one meal a day and reading for an hour. Finished the reading but did eat two meals (as I figured out too late what OMAD means  :P ).

weight: 113.1kg
difference to yesterday: +0.3kg
total weight loss: 11,4

lunch: 4 slices of zwieback (152 cal)

dinner: 1 salad with mixed greens, cheese, ham and joghurt dressing (362 cal)

total intake: 514 calories

exercise: / (only the walking for the challenge)

weight: 112.6kg
difference to yesterday: -0.4kg
total weight loss: 11,8

breakfast: entire ball of mozzarella, cherry tomatoes, balsamico dressing, 1 fruit flavoured yoghurt (474 cal)

lunch: chicken with soysauce and garlic, gherkins, cherry tomatoes

total intake: 833 calories

exercise: just walking, 15 min stretches

I was so happy when I saw the 112.6kg again, binge weight is gone already. Obviously if I hadn't had binged I would probably be less right now, but better than nothing :D! I achieved all my goals except the cardio, but I walked for three hours. Somehow I do not find the motivation to do proper work outs recently, even though I just joined the gym two months ago. Starting on the weekend I am off work for 11 days, definitely shall use this time to hit the gym at least a few times!

Be careful and make sure you use some of your time off for you time, some time to relax and recuperate! If you work in the care field you sure as heck deserve a bit of time for you Nd to wind down and relax!

I am working through todays to-do list, so I already posted my workout and dinner, even though both are still to happen, but I am pretty confident that an apple and gherkins will be my dinner and the workout will be done as I am looking forward to it all day :P. After I posted yesterday I did another even shorter beginner barre workout and truly enjoyed it. Now I will get to writing a report for work. Actually I am doing this in my freetime right now as I won't have enough time to finish it tomorrow at work but my personal goal is to finish it before my 11 days vacation, want to have it out of my mind. It's so stupid that they don't allow home office, otherwise I could count it as working hours, but for that I would have to go to my work place and I really don't feel like it. And if I did I know I would be asked to help take care of the residents as the team is short on staff again, and I would work extra without being able to finish what I actually need to do. Yeah yeah yeah, I need some free time :P. Only have to work till 11am tomorrow and than RELAAAAXXXX!!!!!!!!! Oh and the last three days, three colleagues (each individually) asked me if I had lost weight, I was so happy to hear that my weight loss is becoming visible :D!!! It's so visible that even I can see it :D

Hahahhaha, we are humans and thus have feelings. That makes all of us beautiful with our imperfections. Your thoughts (mind) control your emotions so control your mind to control your feelings.

Just finished the barre workout and some stretches, mostly for front splits, afterwards. I really enjoy this kind of workout, it doesn't burn a lot of calories, but I like to really feel how it helps with strength and posture :D!

I am a bit worried what the scale will show tomorrow. I did quite well food wise and ate the last meal at aroun 5pm, but throughout the day when I stepped on the scale the number went higher and higher, I even saw the 113 once! I just came back from my walk, used the bathroom and stepped on the scale: 112.2kg, I hope over night I will lose some water weight and maybe have some bowel movement  ;)  I was thinking about using a lax, but as today I ate not too much I decided against it, don't want to get dependend on them
