perfect by ellen hopkins

it is soooo good y'all. a quick read too for someone that doesn't usually like books lol

Have you read a lot of her books? I absolutely love her, I just hate how fast I can finish the book, but Identical and Burned are really good. Burned has another one called Smoke but I haven't read it yet.

The lost weekend, Charles Jackson

About a functioning alcoholic who is left alone for around a week to himself.

Set in the 1940's, beautifully written.

I'm currently reading Damned by Chuck Palahniuk. I'm not really into it so far, but it could pick up.

I'm now reading good omens by Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett (it's for my book club) and then I'm also reading personal demon by Kelly Armstrong. Read a number of her books a few years ago and stopped. Hoping to read all the books in the series that are out.

I'm not reading anything right now. The next book I plan to read is The Scarlet Gospels by Clive Barker. I've been looking forward to this book, and I'm going to wait to read it until I have the time to sit and read the whole fucking thing at once.

Choice theory by William Glasser. It's a book my therapist wants me to read. It's pretty boring.

I just finished a re-telling of the Alice in Wonderland story, called Alice, by Christina Henry. It was not what I expected, but I enjoyed it. It's going to be on my mind for the next few days. I might read it again.

'anything that isn't this' by Chris Priestley. A YA dystopia with a male protagonist for once.

'the girl who circumnavigated fairyland in a ship of her own making' by Catherynne M. Valente. My 3rd re-read.

'lighter than my shadow' by Katie Green. A memoir of someone with an eating disorder in graphic novel form. I cried.

The Manifest of surrealism by André Breton, cuz I'm quite into the surrealist movement. I read a lot of poetry (from Appolinaire, Eluard, and so on), however I've never actually read its manifesto.
