“The priory of the orange tree” by Samantha Shannon, it’s amazing <3  It’s a 800 page fantasy book with a lot of LGBT rec (lesbian, gay, aroace), and two of the three main characters are women of colour. Cannot recommend it more

Yay fellow bibliophiles! I always have THREE on the go:

Fiction real book: All Girls by Emily Layden
Fiction Audio Book : As Good As Dead by Holly Jackson
Non-Fiction real book: Between Kingdoms by Suleika Jaouad

And they are all AMAZEBALLS. I am legit going to cry when I finish them I love them so much. I SO enjoy finding a good read I can lose myself in
I came, I saw, I tried to leave
but life just wasn’t done with me
So I waved hospice goodbye, took Ana’s hand in mine and begged
“Peace until the end?”
And with wry reply she sighed
“I’ll do my best my friend…”
So we live
side by side
Until it’s our turn to drift away
on the gentle tide
