My skin is still breaking out! It had been looking decent until I started restricting more often than not.
So what do you use and how well does it work?
I knew it was real
Because I could not unthink it
I could not stand still to make it stop

I have always had bad skin! I've been on the oral medication Accutane and that makes it all flakey and horrible at first but in the long term it improves a lot. I use LUSH green facial scrub and Florida Water as an astringent, which you can get at El Ray's or any Hispanic shop like that. I don't really exfoliate because I've found it irritates my skin too much.

If you go on a fast longer than 10 days your skin should start clearing up believe it or not I've also had pretty bad skin but my makeup covers it up well. I just experience bumps, not of any color, and occasional redness/pimples.

Weleda's almond cleansing cream. it's awesome. I don't get acne, but it's cleared up my blackheads. I use it in the shower.
I do have what i think is rosacea, and I rub almond oil (love almond lol) on it every night after cleaning my face. I used to be super-red and itrritated but it's improved lots!

Benzoyl Peroxide Gel! I had really bad cystic acne and I started using that and I seriously saw major differences within the first two weeks.

I use cetaphil soap for my acne. They have a whole brand of non allergenic acne products.

i alternate between this japanese whitening cleanser and neutrogena's pink grapefruit every day or two, then i use a Laniege toner, and a lotion (either one for acne or neutrogena clear face w/ spf 15) or facemask/night treatment before bed. for blackheads i sometimes get those paper things that stick to your face and when you peel it off some of the dirt comes out.

This is true. Well, I didn't fast longer but when I restrict my skin clear. But sometimes I use soap anti acne, lotions and pomade.

I went to the doctors last Thursday to get stuff for my skin. He prescribed me epiduo, and it has dried out my skin lots :c But I've eased off, and I'm sort of applying it less often and thinly, and washing it off after two hours, like he suggested, and then I'll start wearing it overnight.
My skin is horrible, always has been.

I found the only thing that actually worked for me was sunbathing or using tanning beds. My doctor even told me it might help, and he also prescribed me birth control pills because sometimes they can help

The lady at the Dior counter actualy gave me great advice- if you wear make up use a make up disolving oil rather than harsh wipes and nasty chemicals to remove it. Never press or pull skin but use a light touch and try to apply make up with brushes rather than fingers or sponges as brushes absorb less make up, meaning more will actualy go on your skin aaand they harbor less bacteria than sponges or fingers. All this and just making sure i drink lots of water means i dont have nasty cystic acne its just the hormonal crap
