Just found this awesome blemish extractor from Sephora's that I'm going to try out soon. I imagine that it works best after your skin has been steamed in the shower. Will let you guys know how it works!

Mix equal parts PLAIN geletin mix with 2% milk, microwave (15 sec max) until warm and liquidy consistency. Spread onto affected areas, and let harden. Pull off Bottom to top and feel the burn!! This is a recipie for do it yourself pore strips. I tried this and was hooked, easy and cheaper.
I appologize... sometimes/alot of the time I'm drunk when I post.

Weleda's almond cleansing cream. it's awesome. I don't get acne, but it's cleared up my blackheads. I use it in the shower.

I do have what i think is rosacea, and I rub almond oil (love almond lol) on it every night after cleaning my face. I used to be super-red and itrritated but it's improved lots!

Thanks!! I am going to try that! I use eucerin at the moment when my skin is red (like when I am tired) but it is pretty expensive.

I swear by acne.org products. Follow the regimen exactly, and your skin will be clear and stay clear.

I had hormonal cystic acne for years and years, and now it's gone!!!

If anyone has questions about it, feel free to ask -- I could go on about this system forever! :P

Hey guys this is the blog of Caroline Hirons who is basically the skin care god!
She does these things called cheat sheets (see the side of her blog for more)
here is the one for acne http://www.beautymou...heat-sheet.html

I totally recommend reading all of them.
I wish I had known all this stuff a long long time ago!

I never have pimples, or if I do its once every few months and I'll get like, one. All I do is scrub with astringent twice a day and don't use foundation every day, I usually skip a day. Does wonders! Keeps black heads at bay too

If you go on a fast longer than 10 days your skin should start clearing up believe it or not :) I've also had pretty bad skin but my makeup covers it up well. I just experience bumps, not of any color, and occasional redness/pimples.

does it really work i have blackheads and blemish on my legs because of weight will they go away if i loose more weight...

My dermatologist told me to stay clear of a lot of face cleansing products as they actually make your skin worse in the long run,

I use baking soda it works really well and my face clears up after two -three days ... It's seems to work best for me and I have tried so many pills etc .. Even roaccutane !! Xx

Mandelic acid 5% toner every other day (MUAC or Garden of Wisdom, both online only) to clear out pores and improve skin tone & texture. Mandelic acid is an AHA, but is much less irritating than glycolic acid. Your skin will GLOW within 2 weeks of using the toner. For supplements, Vitamin D3 is amazing at clearing up any acne breakouts, take 3,000-5,000 iu a day along with a calcium supplement & omega 3. You can find all three supplements at your local Walmart, health food store or I buy mine online at Amazon. Take these daily, you will notice a marked improvement on your hair & much healthier, glowing skin within 1-2 weeks.

I highly recommend Clearasil as a cleanser, and then Cerave as a moisturizer at night.  Using an astringent or toner like mandelic acid will also suck the nasty right out of your pores! :)  Vitamin C serum in the mornings will help prevent signs of aging, too, fyi, and always makes my face glow.

If you can get an rx for it, Retin-A is a life saver.  Just be prepared for the "purging period" (more acne for about 2 weeks before it gets better).

Birthcontrol pills with extra hormone in them will help with acne, blackheads.
Ask your doctor about it.
It has worked wonders for me, :)

I used to have acne that never seemed to go away and I would desperately try to spot treat with benzyl peroxide.

Then I started cleansing my face with black African soap along with my tea tree water toner from Lush and my acne cleared up within two weeks.

it might not be a perfect fit for everyone but this soap has worked wonders for me and I think it's worth a try if you're dealing with acne.
