Makeup and good hair days make me feel pretty! (Please don't take this the wrong way) I feel like I'm naturally pretty but the extra weight makes me less so. And the feeling pretty thing is definitely temporary. I'm only saying that now because I'm fasting and I feel great lol.

I feel prettiest after a long bubble bath, exfoliating and putting lotion on my arms and legs. I just feel so clean! <3 Wearing makeup and pretty, stylish clothes also help make me feel better about myself. Especially news clothes. Damn I love new clothes.

I used to be (and still lightweight am) OBSESSED with permanent boxed hair dye (various shades of burgundy and dark red) and makeup. Because my body was hideous as **** and fat I just kept on buying more hair dye and makeup (wasting hundreds of dollars... and of course damaging my hair from 10+ dyes and bleaching 3 times) because they gave me a momentary sense of control over my appearance and body, despite knowing that it's very artificial and that I truly did not have control over my body because I am always shoving McDonalds into my face and then debating whether or not to purge... -___-
Nowadays I still love hair dye and makeup (though not as obsessive as before about needing full face of makeup, as long as my skin looks perfect I feel ok). I shave everything (even arms b/c I hate arm hair) every time I shower, condition hair, exfoliate. Feels best after a workout
When I was heavier and with a significantly more massive waistline I had to wear only loose-fitting tops and clothes to conceal my fat and that made me feel disgusting but not as disgusting as when wearing fitted things, because I had NOWHERE to hide my fat lol. But now that I've lost 35 lbs from my HW and 22 lbs from exactly 2 months ago, I no longer feel comfortable wearing my old loose/larger-sized clothes because they make me feel huge. Now I'm only comfortable wearing fitted tops/shirts (preferably size S), though if I eat I feel like my stomach sticks out again and I get all self-conscious. After another 20 lbs gone, my waist shouldn't feel like a problem anymore...

I am currently changing almost everything about my appearance. Right now I get my teeth done - ceramic fillings first, braces later, then I'll have them bleached - when my face doesn't look that fat anymore, I'll get another haircut and maybe some lighter streaks.
Most of my old clothes are black, dark blue / green or gray and I now make an effort to only buy lighter colors after visiting a fashion consultant. I buy all this girly things I never thought I could wear, like small clip-in bows for your hair, dangly earrings etc.
Also, lots of nice body lotions and shower gels, nail polish and always mascara and lip gloss before leaving the house.
Makes me feel at least less ugly.

I feel the prettiest when I have an even skin tone. That's te most important thing for me. The second most important thing is fake eyelashes. I have really short eyelashes and I feel prettier when they are longer, not like massively long so they're obviously fake, but maybe 8mm to 1cm long. If I have those to things I feel ok. other than that I need to be thinner to feel pretty. Then I have a nicer shaped face and I don't feel so bad about my short eyelashes. I tend to ignore my hair because I find it hard to manage, so as long as it's ok (rather than nice) I don't mind. Also I like to have well fittng underwear, especially bra, because ill fitting underwear makes me feel ugly and puts me in a really bad mood.
