if this diet genuinely works then I'm tempted to give it a try, although the idea of eating 800 cals in just one day freaks me out. I normally eat less than 100/200 cals a day or fast unless I mess up, anyone who's completed the abc, feedback on if you had any success would be helpful :)

I couldnt do that personally, but that dont mean its not right for you, i just try not to eat to much and exercise loads i get really tired though; but i take vitamins which gives me a boost of energy. If you arent eating lots in the day then you will be ok at tea time just have a littler portion and that will keep your parents off your back.

I would recommend starting with the 2468 diet. Then after you maintain a steady weight loss from that, switch to the ABC diet! :-)

having been in recovery for a few years now I am struggling to take control again, its amazing how things like hunger pangs, which were once barely noticeable  take over your entire world when you aren't used to them! I think I will try the 2468 diet before this, this seems very difficult.

man i really really wish i had the will power to do this but I only two months into my first restricted colories diet. I have a hard time keeping under 800 and still have days where I accidently reach :::gasp::: 1,000 calories! Ugh! But this is just the begining. Maybe after I get ahold of my eating habbits better may in a few more months I will have the ability to do this. I have reached a bit of a wall in my weightloss. In the past two week I have lost and gained the same four pounds. If I am to reach my monthly goal I am really going to have to buckle down.

800 calories that one weds????? wtf?? why?

Because it is not a real diet who somebody composed or stuff. It is the day log of an anorexic and then went out into the world, because of the internet.

I think I'm going to try this I've wanted to see what it was for a while and do it.. But has anyone actually completed it? Does it work as good as it says??

I completed it. I started with around 90 kg. Messed up three days and lost a total of six kilos. I have to say that I restricted already a month with no higher calories then 800 and the help of staker and lost in that time around 10 kg, so you should be able to lose more then this six kilo.

Hey everyone,

Been reading the site for a week now and decided to join am excited but abit nervous to as i havent done anything like this b4, ive droped my cals dwn to 600 per day already so i thought id try the abc diet i really hopes this works. Has anyone got any tips or motavation for me plz x

A tip is: even when you don't complete a day,  don't give up, but continue. It is better to have like ten off days then having the feeling of complete failure

can you eat fruit and veg with this or none?

as long as you are in your calorie range eat what ever you want.

I'll start again tomorrow. So let's see how it works this time.
