Do you count calories in drinks too? Or just food? Cause my coffee creamer put me half way to the cals for the first day (just started today) and with my bfast (two pieces ofbacon) I'm over cals by 10. :/ barely started and I'm already messing up :'(

It's up to you. Drinks contain calories, so they do count but a lot of people modify the original diet to make it doable (it's insanely hard)

do you think it would still work if I doubled my calories for each day? I’m a figure skater, and I would hate to just pass out on the ice since that already burns so many calories :((

My mother hid my scale so no weigh ins for a while!

I need someone else

If you're actually serious about your sport, don't waste you talent with low restriction diets. Trust me, as a figure skater, it's not worth it. I know it may feel invalidating to switch to high restriction, but your deficits will still be big because you burn so many calories on the ice. Trust me, you don't want to lose your jumps and skills to a diet. Eat some protein and don't eat a lot, but low restriction diets will not be sustainable when you burn so many calories. All they will do is make you binge like crazy. Figure skating makes you so, so hungry.

Take it from me. I'm an elite figure skater. Spent three years trying to do this low restriction shit. Did not get better at all and stayed fat (figure skating made me burn so many calories that my body couldn't take it anymore and I binged). Increased my calories by 500 (I know it sounds like a lot but you probably burn double that on the ice) and suddenly began to land new jumps every month, went up three levels, and lost 15 lbs all in 5 to 6 months.

I deleted my MPA account in a brief period of "recovery." You can now find me mostly on Pancakes or EDC w/ the username @riv. <7

now excuse me while i make a mile long sig and send something from my iPhone on tapatalk.

Yeah... that’s what I was thinking as well. I’m glad you took the time to respond to this though—I’m so deep in my disorder that sometimes it’s difficult to figure everything out. I don’t want to lose my jumps (I’m finally landing triples again after some other bad mental health stuff and a bit of weight gain) and have to stop competing, and it’s SO tempting to restrict but I always fail anyways ahaha. Figure skating always makes me so hungry! Thank you <3

I'm wanting to loose 10 pounds and 2 inches in the next month (a bit ambitious I know) so I'm starting this diet, I've tried it before but it never worked out so to be more successful I'm doubling the calories so I have a bit more wiggle room. Anyhoo, if anyone wants to be accountability partners please PM me!!

i actually never read this but i have done something similar. besides fasting days. i never matched them with real diet. just switching with binging. but that was whole another separate story when i failed. but this works.
