Some say that you absorb some calories from the carbs in food that get broken down into sugars through an enzyme found in saliva. I personally have never considered this a problem. Say, how much can you have from that? No more than 20 calories depending on what you eat. As for the fat content in foods, I once did an experiment and prior, during and after the session took 1 dosage of Xenical to see if any fat is being absorbed. Nothing came out. Ofcourse, carbs are more finicky. But I still don't take them seriously when having a c/s session.
However, foods that are known to be carby are the easiest to c/s. One can spit bread into a paper towel, same goes for cakes and cookies depending on how moist and bread-like they are. Dense cakes like a pound cake are good imo. But anything works really, if you are determined enough to do it.
